Product Features

Applicable substrate and surface treatment:

New steel: Remove the grease from the surface with appropriate detergent, and rinse the salt and other dirt from the surface with fresh water. Remove the welding slag, smooth the weld and sharp edges, spray cleaning to Sa2.5 level (ISO8501-1), the surface roughness of Rz30µm~75µm (ISO8503-1 compared to the medium roughness in the plate) is the best, it is best to apply the primer within 4 hours after spray cleaning.

Pre-painted workshop primer surface: welds, fire conditioning and damage should be sprayed to Sa2.5 (ISO8501-1), or power tools to St3, only approved intact zinc-rich workshop primer can be retained. When exposed to moisture, zinc salts form on the surface of the zinc-rich primer. The soluble zinc salts must be washed with fresh water and a stiff brush to remove the white rust (zinc corrosion products) on the surface before coating. If the zinc-rich primer has a large area of damage, it is recommended to fully spray clean.

Repair: Thoroughly remove grease from the surface with appropriate detergent, and clean salt and other dirt with high pressure fresh water. It is best to use jet cleaning to remove rust and other loose substances, but also to use power tools to polish small areas of rust, with this product to repaint the exposed parts.
Construction and curing environmental conditions:

The construction environment temperature is 10~40℃, the relative humidity of the air is not more than 80%, and the surface temperature of the steel should be greater than 3℃ dew point; Rain, fog, snow, wind and large dust and other bad weather, prohibited outdoor use;

Construction method:

Airless spraying and air spraying are recommended, brush coating and roll coating are only recommended for pre-coating, small area painting or repair.

As a primer, it is used for spray-cleaned bare steel surfaces in moderately to severely corrosive environments, such as steel structures, bridges, port machinery, offshore platforms, construction machinery, storage tanks and pipelines, power facilities, etc., and is used in conjunction with high-performance paints to further improve the anti-corrosion performance of the coating;
Can be used on the surface of the primer of the zinc-rich workshop that has been approved to be retained;It can be used for the repair of damaged areas of galvanized parts or zinc silicate primer coating;During maintenance, it can only be used on the surface of bare steel that has been surface treated to exert its cathodic protection and anti-rust effect.
